Udupi: Pramod Madhwaraj Abimana Balaga in association with KMC Manipal hospital celebrated Pramod Madhwaraj, District in-charge Minister’s 49th birthday by holding a free health check – up camp on October 17 at Town Hall, Ajjarkad.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said that he does not believe in celebrating birthdays.”God has blessed me abundantly in my life. With blessings of God I am sharing whatever I have with other people and it gives wonderful satisfaction to me. I am grateful.”
Earlier, Pramod Madhwaraj Badavani Artists, Kodankoor, Sathish Amin Padukere invoked God’s blessings. Sri Sri Vishwaprasannha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
In his inaugural address Junior Pontiff of Pejawar Math appreciated Pramod Madhwaraj for his noble work in the district and said that the minister will continue serving the poor. The Seer said that being a successful politician, Madhwaraj is also a social worker and helps those who need help.
“He has the quality of simplicity and politeness. Let Sri Krishna bless him abundantly for his good initiatives’ for poor,” he said.
Nithyanand Shetty, Brahmavar Block Congress President delivered the introductory address. Rev Fr. Mangaluru, Babu Amin Bannanje, Vidwan of Tulu Janapada and Dr. Padmaraj Hegde, Professor and Head of Department, Urology, KMC, Manipal and Rahul State President of Pramod Madhwaraj Abimana Balaga Social Services, Bengaluru spoke on the occasion and appreciated Pramod Madhwaraj for his outstanding service to the poor and needy.
Large number of party workers, officials of various departments, police personnel and his fan groups wished him on the occasion.
Sathish Kodavoor and Janardhan Bhandarkar compered the programme. Earlier prior to the stage programme, Pramod Madhwaraj inaugurated the Health Check up camp.
