Udupi: Owing to health concerns, Pejawar Math Seer Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji would be required to leave the Car street in the midst of his two-year Paryaya tenure informed Raghuram Acharya, dewan of the Pejawar Mutt.
Though the seer is not allowed to leave the car street while serving the Paryaya tenure as per the traditional norms, this being a special case he had to leave the premise to undero surgical procedure for hernia at Kasturba Medical College on Sunday, said Acharya.
In his absence, the rituals at the temple will be perfomed by Vishwaprasanna Tirtha, a junior seer at the Mutt.
