Karkala: Police team arrested three men in connection with chain snatching incident that took place on June 30.
In the incident that took place at noon on June 30 near Mulladka of Belman, an elderly woman named Kamalamma (70) lost her jewels. She later lodged a complaint with the Rural Police Station.
Police team led by Circle Inspector Joy Antony arrested Srinidhi alias Sheenu (21), a resident of Kateel Kondemula ST Colony, Nitin Poojary (20) of Devaragudde, Purushotham Poojary alias Ravi (27) of Kandavara Kinnikambala and seized stolen jewels valued at Rs 1.33 Lakh.
