Udupi: An auto rickshaw from LVT plying on the service road of the NH 66 to Santhekatte and a Maruthi car heading from Santhekatte towards Indira Petrol pump rammed into each other at Santhekatte, Kallianpur near here on Tuesday, February 21. However, the passengers in the auto rickshaw miraculously survived without any injury.
The rickshaw was headed towards Santhekatte on the service road in the wrong side at a reckless speed. The Maruthi car which came on the way all of a sudden hit the rickshaw. The bumper and front right side of the car and the right side of the front of the auto were damaged.
Luckily, passengers in both vehicles escaped unhurt.
