Udupi :In a sudden development Dr M B Boralingaiah the SP of Udupi district has been transferred and posted as the new SP of Davanagere district here on July 31.
Senior IPS officer and former Chamarajanagar SP P Rajendra Prasad has been appointed as new SP of Udupi.
Dr Boralingaiah served the district for two and half years.
5 IAS officers and 31 IPS officers have been transferred by Karnataka state government.
