Udupi: An electronics wholesale store was robbed at Kinnimulky here on Monday March 23. The thieves escaped with Rs 8 lac worth items from Sithara Enterprises owned by Prabhakar Kalmady.
The owner of the shop informed that he had locked the store on Saturday night before going home but on Monday morning when he came to the store, it was open.
As many as 700 pieces of electrical iron, three monitors, a gas stove, a laptop and a mobile phone, altogether items worth Rs 8 lac, were stolen.
Udupi circle inspector Srikanth Rao and other officials arrived at the spot carried out an initial investigation.
A case has been registered in Udupi police station.
