Udupi: A 38-year-old man allegedly killed in wife and mother-in-law at their residence near Diana theatre here on Thursday, April 30.
The deceased are Archana (30) and her mother Nirmala (50).
According to sources, Sanjay Dutta (38), came home at around 1.30am in a drunken state and picked a quarrel with his wife and mother-in-law. In a fit of anger, he allegedly ended up killing the two with a sharp weapon. While Nirmala died on the spot, Archana passed away in the hospital. She is survived by three children. It is learnt that Sanjay hails from Assam and married Archana 8 years ago.
Udupi police registered a case and arrested Sanjay.
