Udupi: B S Yeddyurappa – MP Byndoor-Shimoga inaugurated the ‘Workers Convention Programme’ organised at Kaup Constituency here on Sunday, April 19.
Addressing the gathering, Yeddyurappa strongly criticized Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi for misleading farmers in the name of land acquisition.
He assured that farmers could be sure about the NDA government’s land acquisition ordinance, as it is meant develop industries and not to destroy the farm land or farmers.
Modi-led NDA government is committed to improve the lives of the farmers; there are many schemes to improvise the life and life style of farmers. Modi government gives importance to industrial development but not in the cost of farmers, he stressed.
Congress’ is known for their faulty policies, they can’t do anything than spreading roamers, he alleged.
The central government is trying to nap the issues which force farmers to commit suicide and put maximum effort to save farmers life. Narendra Modi’s government also concentrating to providing better yield facilities and compensation for the lost crops, he concluded.
