Udupi: A bike rider was killed on the spot in a collision between truck and bike here on September 30 at Padubidri.
According to the police, the deceased is Jayaram Acharya. He was thrown on the road and succumbed to his death due to the injuries he suffered in the accident.
The bike was heading to Karkala from Padubidri and the truck was in the opposite direction and they collided each other.
The body has been shifted to the Government hospital for post-mortem.
A case has been registered in Padubidri police station.
