Udupi: A 9-month-old baby boy drowned after it reportedly got into the bucket of water at his residence. The incident took place on Saturday morning in the Brahmavar police station limits.
The baby boy identified as Reyon Lewis, son of Raymond and Jennifer Lewis, was playing in the house, while his mother was reportedly busy with household chores.
According to the reports, the baby playfully entered the bathroom and got into the bucket filled with water. The mother realized only after the baby was drowned in the bucket.
The last rite was performed on Saturday evening.
