Udupi: A 12ft large python was discovered by the final year students of MPMC College on Wednesday August 20, in their college premises.
The students immediately informed the principal, who brought in the snake expert Gururaj Sanil to catch the snake.
Sanil caught hold of the the snake as the curious students watched and as he held on to it, he delivered some basic information to the students about the snake, and later released it safely in the forest
Principal Shobha, and administrator Dayanand shetty were present among other school staff.
