Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy S Duos 3 low-end Smartphone in India sooner than later. A retailer in India has posted photos of the box of the successor of Galaxy Duos S low-range Smartphone, and is claiming that the phone is already in stock with the retailer.
This phone will be the company’s successor in the Galaxy S Duos smartphone series, which is targeted at the budget conscious lot of consumers, and is the company’s take on other smartphone vendors who have captured a good market share in the low-end smartphone segment.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S Duos 3 will come with a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display and Android 4.4 KitKat version onboard. It will be powered by 1 GHz dual-core CPU coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It will have a 5-meagpixel rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front camera, and connectivity support for dual-SIm, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, and FM radio. It comes with a 1,500 mAh battery. The phone will support 14 Indian languages as well.
The phone is touted to be priced at INR 8,590, however might retail at best buy price of INR 7,999. Though, the company is yet to make an official announcement about the Galaxy S Duos 3, which is speculated to be a version of the company’s rumored Galaxy Ace NXT smartphone.
The phone will be up against the likes of Motorola Moto E, Micromax Canvas Unite 2, and Xiaomi RedMi 1s which has already created buzz in the market and will go on flash sale today.
