Bengaluru: Anushka Sharma flew down to Bengaluru to meet her boyfriend Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli who is absent from the tenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) due to his shoulder injury. The photos of the couple meeting have gone viral on social media and ‘Virushka’, the moniker of the couple is trending again.
Delhi batsman is still recuperating from a shoulder injury he sustained during the Test series against Australia might play in the next match.
According to reports, Kohli’s rumoured girlfriend Sharma visited Kohli after a physiotherapy session that Virat had to undergo for his injured shoulder.
Anushka, who starred in the latest Bollywood movie Phillauri, is currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
In Kohli’s absence, RCB have already lost two of the three matches they have played this season.
