Shivamogga: Two adult tigers were found dead in Bhadra Tiger Reserve. Week old carcasses were found by the forest department officials near a stream in Umbeyalu forest, 100 metre away from Bhadra reserve.
The dead tigers were found by the Range Forest Officer (RFO) during his routine rounds. However, no clues were available as to whether they were male or female.
The exact cause of their death too is not known. Only post mortem report will throw light on the exact cause, opined National Tiger Conservation officials.
However, it is gathered that both tigers might have died due to food poisoning.
