Shivamogga: A class 10 student was allegedly abducted and dumped into a canal here in Anupinakatte in Shivamogga on September 20.
Eshwari, a student from Gopala Layout was allegedly kidnapped in an Omni and was pushed into 120 deep Tunga canal. However, the girl has been rescued by the fire personnel and the locals.
The injured girl has been shifted to Mcgann Hospital and investigation is underway by Tunga Nagar Police as to who might have attempted to abduct her.
