Telugu film “Arjun Reddy” has become a trendsetting film in Tollywood. The film, which was made on a shoestring budget, has already earned five times it’s budget through theatricals alone. The film will be remade in other languages. While it is said that Dhanush has purchased the remake rights of Tamil version, in Kannada version, there are rumours of Rocking Star Yash playing the lead.
Rockline Venkatesh, known for producing remake films has bought the remake rights. He wants Yash to be part of the film, as he feels only Yash can play the role of the arrogant doctor. Rockline knows that Yash does not prefer remakes and has also taken it upon himself to change the screenplay of the film.
But the big question in everybody’s mind is, whether Yash will act in the film. As of now, Yash is working on “KGF”, the biggest project in Sandalwood. He is expected to act in Harsha’s “Raana”, but it has not been confirmed yet. With Yash eyeing other markets in “KGF”, if he acts in the remake of “Arjun Redyy”, his market will get limited. So in all probability, he may not act in the film. But we will have to wait for the official confirmation.
