A recent news that M D Sridhar of ‘Porki’ and ‘Bulbul’ fame will be directing Challenging Star Darshan’s 50th film has a twist. After criticism, it is said that Sridhar is out of the project and the film will be directed by Tarun Sudhir who is in news after his massive hit ‘Chowka’. Darshan had a cameo in Chowka and many say that experience in Chowka may have made Darshan draw Tarun to direct his 50th film, which is said to be a remake of Tamil film ‘Veeram’.
Darshan and Tarun have been friends for many years. They have worked together in films like “Jothe Jotheyali” and “Navagraha”. We will have to wait and see, how the landmark film turns out to be, when it releases in 2018.
