The makers of Darshan’s 50th film “Kurukshetra” have finally found Arjuna. Popular Bollywood actor Sonu Sood will be playing Arjuna in the film. It was initially said that Arjun Sarja will be playing Arjuna and Shivarajkumar will be playing Karna in the film.
However, Shivarajkumar had to walk out of the film due to dates issues. Arjun Sarja was given Karna’s role and the team was in search for an actor to play Arjun. Sonu Sood was selected due to his physique and his acting talent. He is also popular in other film industries, which will help the film.
This is Sonu’s second Kannada film. In the past, he was seen in Kiccha Sudeepa starrer “Vishnuvardhana”, wherein he played the role of villain. Meanwhile, the film’s shooting is going on at a rapid pace. It is scheduled to release during next January.
