Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is turning out to be the most popular choice for villainous roles in the south. The talented actor has played some memorable roles as villain in Hindi films like “Players and “Johnny Gaddar”. However, his acting career as hero did not take off in Bollywood, but now he has got lease of life in acting, thanks to his villainous role in Tamil film “Katthi”.
Neil has impressed the southern audience so much that he is being flooded with offers. He will also be playing negative role in Prabhas’s much-hyped film “Saaho”.
It is now said that he has been approached by Shankar Gowda to play villain’s role in “Kempegowda 2”. The directorial venture of Roshan Mohan, which has Komal in lead role was launched recently and Neil may become the ‘bad man’ in the film. Shankar Gowda and Shankar Reddy are the producers.
Sudeep had played the lead in the prequel. He had also directed the film. However, due to certain differences between Shankar and Sudeep, Shankar has decided to cast Komal in sequel. This news has not gone well some Sudeep fans, who feel only Sudeep can do justice for the role.
