‘Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu’ has done the unimaginable. The film which is still running successfully in Karnataka has grossed Rs 1.08 crores in USA. With this, it has become the second Kannada film after ‘Rangitaranaga’ to cross the Rs 1 crore mark in USA.
The movie has been released by Jolly Hits and even this week, is screened in around 40 locations. The film is also doing well in other parts of the world.
With the success of GBSM, we can say that a good content Kannada film, if promoted well can do wonders overseas. More Kannada films should be promoted and released overseas.
