Pon Kumar made a dashing debut in Sandalwood as director with Kiccha Sudeepa starrer “Vishnuvardhana.” However after a successful debut, he directed many films. But none of them did great business like his debut film. The reason must be casting not so popular actors. But he is now all set to direct Darshan in his next.
The film will be produced by Shylaja Nag and B Suresh. Darshan had given his call sheets to B Suresh few years ago. But as many of Darshan’s films got postponed, due to various reasons, the project with B Suresh also met the same fate. However, with Kurukshetra’s shooting going on in rapid speed, Darshan has agreed to give his dates for the film.
The film will be a mass oriented film. V Harikrishna will not only be composing the music for the film, but he will also co-write the story and screenplay for the film. The film will be a full-on entertainer with a mix of love and action, tailor-made for Darshan.
Pon Kumar is awaiting the release of his directorial “Gowdru Hotel” starring Prakash Rai and Vedhika.
