Chiranjeevi Sarja, who got a second lease of life in Sandalwood after “Aatagara” has become very choosy. He does not want to repeat the mistakes, which he did in the past and has also rejected remakes. He has now silently finished shooting of “Aake”, which has been directed by his “Aatagara” director K M Chaitanya. The film has now reached the post-production stage. Gossip mongers say that the film is said to be similar to “Beladingala Baale”, however the team rules it out.

The film was shot in UK and India and is about three generations of women. Sharmiela Mandre and Achyuth Kumar are playing pivotal roles in the film. “Aake” is the first Indo-British collaboration. The first portion of the film’s shooting was in London after which the action shifted to Bengaluru.
