Tumkuru: Often called by his followers as ‘Walking God’, Dr Shri Shri Shivakumara Mahaswamy of Siddaganga mutt celebrated his 108th birthday here on Wednesday April 1.
Thousands of devotees from across the district gathered to seek the swamiji’s blessings on the occasion.
He is the founder of the Sree Siddaganga Education Society. He was initiated into viraktashram order in 1930.
