Bijapur: The parents of hostelites staying in Alamela city in Sindagi taluk of Bijapur have urged the principal to shift thier children to other schools.
The hostelites were sexually harassed by the assistant cook.They had complained of his torture. Police have arrested Vijay Kumar the accused finally.
The accused was supported and encouraged by Hostel staff Jyothi, against whom a case has been registered. But she is not yet arrested.
Alamela city merchants, various associations called for bundh in the area opposing his assault on girls. All the shops were closed and public too supported the bundh call. Students along with ABVP activists also protested against the accused in front of the school.
