Chamarajanagar: Chamarajanagar MP R Dhruvanarayan has urged the authorities concerned to complete land acquisition process for National Highway 209 development across the district by the end of December.

Presiding over the District Level Awareness and Monitoring Committee meeting at the ZP hall in the district administration complex on Sunday Novmber 23, Dhruvanarayan said that four National Highways passed through the district and funds have been released for their development.
He asked the officials to judiciously utilize the funds and to maintain quality in the execution of works. The MP also directed the officials to complete 50 km stretch of National Highway 212 passing through the district within 20 months.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s ‘Jan Dhan’ scheme, the MP instructed bank officials to ensure that all families in the district have a bank account.
DC A.M. Kunjappa, ZP CEO Dr. Narasimhamurthy, special Land Acquisition Officer Suresh Kumar, Lead Bank Manager Shivaramaiah, ZP President D.C. Nagendra, Vice-President Kethamma and others attended the meeting.
