Dubai: “Budha Ghar Par Hai”, a comedy evening with famous stand-up comedian Shakeel Siddiqui entertained the comedy lovers of UAE at Emirates theatre on November 18 under the banner of Price Global conference and events.
“Budha Ghar Par Hai” was held at Emirates Theater located at the Emirates International School. The show was opened by legendary RJ Prince with his hilarious character Kookie Singh. The show rocked the audience by Shakeel Siddiqui with his slapstick humor and amazing comic timing and created a laugh riot throughout.
Shakeel Siddiqui is a Pakistani television stand-up comedian better known as ‘Teeli’ in Pakistan. He rose to prominence in Bollywood after appearing as a contestant in Comedy Circus. Shakeel was best known for his time in India for the show Comedy Circus where he was critically acclaimed as a king of stage comedy. He later stepped out of the competition on his own and participated separately on fan’s choice alongside Urvashi Dholakia initially and Shruti Seth and Mona Singh in the final season of his appearance. Among the other participants, he became a role model. Participants like Swapnil often referred him as the best stand-up comedian of the show. Judges Satish Shah and Archana Puran Singh praised Shakeel for his tremendous performances and jokes on Shruti Seth. In October 2014, Shakeel made a comeback to Indian television screen with Comedy Classes on Life Ok.
