Doha: ‘Simpalagi Ondu Love story’ fame sandalwood actress Shwetha Srivatsav graced the Karnataka Sangha Qatar‘s Vanita Pratibha Sambrama event on Friday 10th at Ashoka Hall, ICC-Doha Qatar.Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a prominent frontline community group in Qatar conducted ‘Vanita Pratibha Sambrama’ a talent hunt show for ladies in a traditional and unique way. The program started with lighting the lamp and then talented singers Ratnamala Prakash, Indu vishwanath and Pancham halibandi, who had been specially flown from Karnataka served a musical delight. A colourful fashion show followed to enthrall the audience.
During the public function, KSQ president HK Madhu, Ladies wing coordinator Shilpa Shetty, Children’s wing secretary Savious Crasta escorted the chief guest of the evening Hameeda Khader, Vice principal of MES School and guest of honour of the event actress Shwetha Srivatsav to the stage.
KSQ President Madhu delivered welcome address. Speaking on the occasion Hameeda Khader gave a powerful speech on women empowerment. Speaking on the occasion Shwetha Srivatsav expressed her gratitude to KSQ and passionately delivered dialogues from her movies.
Children’s wing secretary Savious Crasta read out names of meritorious students who excelled in academics, subject toppers, arts, sports and science. KSQ felicitated the students with mementos. The meritorious students are: Thejas.C.S, Yoshita Kanchan, Safa Mohd.Saleem, Likitha.J.M, Neha Shetty, Pruthvi Shetty and Ashral Castelino. Dr.Rohini Dorre compered the program and Ladies wing coordinator Shilpa Shetty delivered the vote of thanks.
KSQ also honoured all the artists Ratnamala Prakash, Indu Vishwanath, Pancham Halebandi and Shwetha Srivatsav during the occasion.
Ratnamala Prakash, Indu Vishwanath and Pancham Halebandi continued their singing till the curtains came down with Kannada bhavageethe, Folk songs, Bollywood songs that had the audience tapping their feet and cheering for once more.
Meanwhile Aster Medical Centre organized Lucky Draw among the audience and distributed gift vouchers to the Lucky winners.
KSQ also gave away the prizes to the winners in the various competitions conducted for Ladies and children, on 3rd Feb Friday at Bhavans school premises. Both the ladies and children had various competitions, where talented ladies and children showed their skills.
