Doha: The Qatar Konkani parishioners celebrated “Christmas” with a holy mass on December 24 at 7.30 pm at Our Lady of Rosary Church ground.
Before the mass, St. Cecilia Choir Group sang the devotional Konkani carols which spread the spiritual warmth amid the cool breeze in the open ground.
Fr. Anand Castelino, OFM, Our Lady of Rosary Church presided over the Konkani Christmas celebration mass and called upon the devotees for “an increase in spiritual pride, peace, harmony and family bonding” during the homily.
The devotees took the blessings of “Infant Jesus” and greeted one another.
The Christmas tree and the crib were the main attractions of the celebration.
