Doha-Qatar: Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) completed the election for the Members of the Committee and lady members on November 22 at ICC, Ashoka Hall. Devis Edukulathur was declared the President of ICBF for the term 2016-2018 unanimously.
The Executive Committee consisting of the elected and nominated members had completed their takeover procedure at Embassy of India, at an official meeting chaired by R.K. Singh, Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy and Coordinating Officer, ICBF on December 8. The first meeting of the Management Committee was held at Calcutta Hall, ICC on December 11, presided by Devis Edukulathur, in presence of the Coordinating Officer.
The Committee proactively planned the first event, “Children Awareness Workshop” – The Art of Giving on December 21 at Ashoka Hall, Indian Cultural Center (ICC) at 06.00pm onwards and the 28th ICBF Free Medical Camp for workers on December 30, in association with Atlas Medical, at Atlas Medical Center, near Asia Town (in Industrial Area), starting 7am-1pm.
