Dubai: A team of like-minded youngsters of all religion named Hindu Muslim Christian-United celebrated the brotherhood between different religions by organizing a grand Iftar get-together at Grand Excelsier hotel in Dubai.
The meet kick started with Kirath recitation. After the Iftar and prayer a formal stage program was arranged. Patron of HMC United Ibrahim Matpady, President of Karnataka NRI Forum and chairman of Fortune group of hotels Praveen Shetty, director of ACME building materials and producer of March 22 movie Harish Sherigar, president of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha and Rajyotsava award winner Sarvotham Shetty, brand owner of Meluha cigar Yogesh Deshpande, chairman of Royal Diamonds Imran Khan, GM of Neeraj International Sunil Bagalkotkar, president of BWF Abudhabi Mohammad Ali, secretary of Karnataka NRI forum Prabhakar Ambalathere and other dignitaries were present as guest of honor.
Founder president of HMC United Shakeel Hassan welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the HMC United and its motto towards recreating the religious harmony in society.
KNRI president Praveen Shetty said that around 10 years back the coastal belt cities of Karnataka never witnessed any religious clashes with people living like brothers and sisters irrespective of their religion. But nowadays the situation has changed and people are now weighing others by their religion and not by their talents. This will destroy humanity values and communal harmony. The initiative taken by HMC United is well required in present days and let’s pray for religious harmony in whole world, he said.
Sarvotham Shetty and Mohammad Ali wished all success to HMC United and urged everyone to support such good initiatives for the wellness of society.
