Gulf Medical University welcomes Consul General of India

Dubai : Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman had the pleasure of hosting the Consul General of India in Dubai, His Excellency Vipul, on Wednesday, August 30. The Consul General was received at the university by Thumbay Moideen, Founder, President Board of Trustees of GMU, Prof. Gita Ashok Raj, Provost of GMU and the Deans of various colleges of GMU.

H.E. Vipul was presented with the vision and mission of GMU and he toured the educational and research facilities in the campus, including the different ongoing projects of the hospitals and medical centers within the campus. He also visited the University’s Research & Innovation Center, Thumbay Institute of Precision Medicine and Translational Research, Thumbay Institute of Population Health and the Thumbay Institute of Health Workforce Development & Leadership. The Consul General was also apprised about the efforts of Gulf Medical University to emerge as the first private Academic Health System in the region.

H.E. Vipul commended Thumbay Moideen for his efforts in establishing a world-class university delivering high-quality medical education, healthcare and research. He wished Thumbay Moideen and his team more successes in the future.
