Dubai: The excitement packed and fun loaded sports day organized under aegis of the UAE Bunts family youth wing saw the Ace Avengers-team sponsored by famous businessman and chief of Ace Cranes Gunasheel Shetty, win the overall championship.
The sports competitions were held at Institute of Applied technology-Al Quises on February 17. The full-day event saw a variety of team games such as Kabaddi, volleyball, cricket and other athletics. Bunts youth participated in games with great zeal, enthusiasm and sports spirit.
A total of eight teams – Woody’s Red Indians, Ace Avengers, Fortune O’rangers, Structcon Pirates, TMT Gladiators, Black Jaguars, Abudhabi Lions and GBMT Panthers – participated with true sports spirit to achieve the Bunts Youth wing championship 2017 title.
While the title was won by Ace Avengers, TMT Gladiators won the first runner up award. Woodys Red Indians who offered tough competition had to be happy at the second runner up position.
Chief of Fortune group of hotels Praveen Shetty, chief of ace cranes Gunasheel Shetty and many other dignitaries were present at Closing Ceremony and they handed over the trophy’s to the winners.
Judges and referees of the various sports competitions were honored with mementos. Kiran Shetty on behalf of Bunts family youth wing thanked everyone for making the sports meet a successful.
