Shimoga : Former deputy chief minister KS Eshwarappa has taken a dig at former minister CM Ibrahim by stating that the latter who was in the JD(S) in the past and had criticised the Congress, had no moral right to criticise other parties now that he has joined the Congress.
Speaking to reporters at Shimoga on Thursday April 10, Eshwarappa said Ibrahim while in the JD(S) in the past had abused the then prime minister Indira Gandhi, but was now following Sonia Gandhi.
On Chief Minister’s Nara Hanthaka comment on Narendra Modi, Eshwarappa said the Election Commission had earlier served notice to Siddaramaiah over it. “But the CM has now taken a U-turn by stating that he said so referring to Modi Government and not Modi. This is nothing but escapism,” Eshwarappa said.
