Chikballapura: BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi called for the defeat of Veerappa Moily who failed to fulfill what he had promised for the people of Chikballapur.
Speaking at an election rally ahead of the April 17 Lok Sabha election, organised at Kottanur college ground, Mr Modi alleged that Mr Moily had failed to perform in different portfolios he handled during the last five years and the people of his constituency remained the worst affected.
In Chikballapur there is scarcity of water. Moily failed to solve this problem. So he has cheated the locals. He should not be given chance this time as he is contesting for the second time .
Let Devegowda come to Gujrat
Modi also took a dig at Janata Dal (S) President H D Devegowda who had claimed that he would leave Karnataka if Narendra Modi becomes prime minister. “He is like my father. I would like to take him to Gujarat for a peaceful life. I will also ensure that I personally serve him.”,Modi said.
