KSRTC driver dies in collision between 2 buses

Mangalore :
A KSRTC bus and a private bus collided against each other in the early hours of Saturday April 19, resulting in the death of the KSRTC bus driver. Around 15 passengers sustained injuries in the accident.

The accident took place at Kolnad near Mulky around 5:45 am when a Hubli-Mangalore KSRTC sleeper bus crashed against a private bus (Pragati), plying from Bangalore to Udupi.

It is learnt that that KSRTC bus was on the wrong side and being driven at a high speed  resulting in the accident. The driver of the private bus too has sustained injuries. The injured have been admitted to Mukka Srinivas hospital. A case has been registered in Mulky police station.
