Full-fledged Bantwal Branch of IOB inaugurated

Bantwal : A new full-fledged branch of Indian Overseas Bank was inaugurated at Srinivas Building in front of the Tirumala Venkatramana Temple  here on Wednesday April 16. Manoor Lakshmana Kamath, Managing Trustee of the Temple, inaugurated the branch.

Dr. M. Narendra, Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank having its Regional Office in Mangalore, presided over the function.

In his address, Dr Narendra said the Bank aims at maintaining good and cordial relationship with its customers and win their hearts through its efficient service. He also stated that the Bank gave priority to Kannadigas while appointments to its branches  in the state. He further said he was the third Kannadiga to occupy the coveted post of the chairman of the Bank in its 77 year long history.

Dr. Narendra further said along with banking service, the bank also gave importance to its corporate social responsibility and has proved that it was no less when compared to other banks.

Damodar Prabhu, Purushottam Shenoy, Temple Trustees, CS Vasanth Kumar, General Manager,  K Anil, Chief Manager of Bangalore Region and others were present.

PV Sudhakeran, Senior Regional Manager, welcomed the gathering. Balakrishna Shibaraya, Manager of Bantwal Branch proposed the vote of thanks. PK Ravindra Pai, Derlakatte branch Manager  compered the programme.
