Mangalore: “Cook N Win” a vegetarian cuisine competition organized by Harsha events in association with www.charuscuisine.com was held today in the Hotel Poonja international.
The judges of the cookery competition were Advocate Mrs.Lavanya Shetty, proprietor of www.charuscuisine.com, Mrs Charulatha Prasad Rao and Guruprasad Prabhu, Manager-operations, Hotel Poonja International.
Out of 100 applications received in www.charuscuisine.com, four recipie’s got the chance to participate in the finals. The dishes were judged based on Arrangement, Innovation, Presentation, Taste and Cleanliness. A time frame of half an hour was gives for the participants to cook and present the dishes.
The above dishes won the first prize for Mrs. Nalini Chandrahas.
Mrs. Meenakshi Giridhar won the second prize for the variety of above dishes.
A prize distribution ceremony was held where the winner’s received cash prize of Rs. 4000 and Rs. 2000 respectively for the first and second place.
This event was broadcasted on air by 92.7 Big FM. All the participants received movie tickets from cinepolis mangalore.
