Varanasi : “The BJP will be finished  if people of Varanasi defeat Narendra Modi,” said AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Addressing a public meet here, Kejriwal said “Modi will not be made the prime minister in case he loses Varanasi.”

The AAP Chief further told the people of Varanasi that even if they elect Modi, the very next month he will vacate the seat and retain his Vadodara seat.

“If Varanasi defeats Modi then it will initiate Maha Kranti and the holy town will help in the resurrection of politics of honesty,” Kejriwal said. “I am contesting from Varanasi not with a wish to become an MP but to root out corruption from the political system,” he declared.“Do not get fooled by Modi,” he told people of Varanasi.

Attacking Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi too, Kejriwal predicted a defeat for Rahul from Amethi and said the AAP candidate Kumar Vishwas would win by a margin of nearly 2 lakh votes. Kejriwal also claimed that it was he who had mustered courage to reveal the alleged scams of Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

In an interactive session held later on, Kejriwal said all government schools would be developed and made better than private schools, if his government came to power.

The AAP Chief also admitted that he did a mistake by not eliciting public opinion before quitting as Delhi chief minister.

Kejriwal also visited the Maldahiya slums in the town and met the family of Pawan Kumar, a Dalit youth who died while cleaning sewer recently. The AAP Chief has   written to the  District Civic Chief and Commissioner demanding action against those responsible for the death of the youth.
