Srinivas Jokattes 20th Book Kalagarbakke Patalagaradi Released in Metro

Mumbai : The articles of Srinivas Jokatte are being published in most of the dailies since the past 3 decades in metro.  He has published a book that has 41 chosen articles.  He has made Umamaheshwari temple as his abode and published the book dedicated to Goddess Umamaheshwari.  He has been a honest, soft spoken individual was known for his literary contributions in different ways, said Karnatka Sangh – Goregaon former president Mundkoor Surendra Salian.

Salian was speaking after presiding the twentieth book release of Srinivas Jokatte, chief sub-editor of Kannada Malla, Kannada daily, titled ‘Kalagarbakke Patalagaradi’ during the function held at Umamaheshwari temple, Kajupada, Jerimeri, Kurla (West) here on Sunday August 18.

Umamaheshwari temple managing trustee and veteran entrepreneur B K Sheena and Lalita B K Sheena couple were the chief guests of the occasion.

Kajupada Tulunada Seva Sangh president Ravi Mendon Kurkal, Karnatkaa Sangh – Mumbai honorary secretary Omdas Kannangar were the guests of honor.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Mendon said that he knew Srinivas Jokatte since his beginning, who was always eager to study and pen his views, said Mendon.

The author Srinivas Jokatte after giving a birds eye view of the book thanked all those who helped him in his endeavor.

Karnataka Sangh – Mumbai vice president Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu in his forehead said that it’s a revolutionary book with modern touch.  The has given importance to explain his insights in the book, said Dr Bharat.

Chitrapu K M Kotian, Nityanand D Kotian, Petri Vishwanat Shetty, Satish N Bangera, Sharada Anchan, Anita P Poojary, Tonse Sanjeev Poojary, Praveen Mabian, G P Kusuma, Harry R Sequeira and others were present on the occasion.

Nikhita S Amin rendered the prayers.  The temple chief priest S N Udupa welcomed the gathering.  Jayalaxmi Srinivas Jokatte welcomed the dignitaries.  The poet and playwright Sa Daya (Dayanand Salian) compered the programme.
