Dubai :S.M.S Brahmavara Alumni, Dubai, an association of ex- students of Brahmavara based S.M.S Educational Institutions, felicitated teachers of the institution at Fortune Plaza, Dubai Al Qusais on Friday April 11. The Principal of SMS College K Narayanan, inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp.
Addressing the gathering he appreciated the several Indians who are occupying higher posts in the Gulf and at the same time uplifting their nationality. He thanked all the old students for their support which has helped in developing the institution. He also spoke about the future plans of the institution.
On this occasion K Narayanan along with Dr H V Somayaji, Vice Principal, Susheela Rai, G Balakrishna Shetty, Chandra Shekhar Hegde, Lecturers and also Thomas Suharis couple who were earlier working as teachers in S.M.S. PU College and are presently working in Dubai, were felicitated.Robert Sequeira, the first student of SMS School was also honoured.
The old students took an oath that they would continue to support the institution and be a guiding light to the future generation.
