‘Nirel’ successfully screened in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, Feb22: The Tulu movie ‘Nirel’ which was screened to a packed audience at Dubai last week was successfully released at the Eldorado and Grand Cinemas at Abu Dhabi on February 21, Friday.

Karnataka Sangha President  Sarvottam Shetty released the film at Eldorado Cinema at 1 noon by lighting the lamp. The ‘Nirel’ film team and several dignitaries were present. The film was screened to a packed audience and many  who could not get tickets had to return disappointed.

Shetty himself released the film at Grand Cinemas at Safeer Mall in the presence of several chief guests and ‘Nirel’ film team.

“I enjoyed the film. It is the first Tulu film of high quality,” said Jyothi who had come to see the film along with her cinema.

“This is a super film which I enjoyed to the fullest extent. Congratulations to Nirel Team,” said Girish who is working in Mussafa.

Sandeep Rai, an employee at NMC was also pleased to watch the film and thanked Nirel team for a wonderful movie.

Shekhar Shetty, Managing Director of Arab Udupi Group of Restaurants watched the movie for the second time along with his daughter and also distributed laddoos to the  audience at Eldorado Cinema.

The film will be screened at Golden Cinema of Dubai on February 29 following high demand. It is slated to be released in Muscat on March 7.

‘Nirel’ will be released in Mangalore next week and the theatres where it will be screened will be announced shortly. The ‘Nirel’ team has also informed that the film will be released  in various places of Dakshina Kannada as also in Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Canada and Australia  in the days to come.
