Lakumi Cine creations to venture into Tulu Films with “Ekka Saka”

Mangalore: The Lakumi Cine creations held its Muhurtha of the first film “Ekka Saka” at Vajradehi Mata Gurupur on Sunday, December 1. The seer of Vajradehi Mata, Rajashekharananda Swamiji inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

The chief guest of the program Harish Sherigar, a businessman from Dubai and also the singer for the movie addressed the audience. He said, “These days the Tulu films are losing their originality and so fails to attract the viewers thus a film must maintain its originality.”

The former presidents of Tulu Sahitya Academy Seetharam Kulal, Umanath Kotyan and businessman Shekhar Shetty Tenjemane also graced the event.

Setharam Kulal said, “Lakumi team is encouraging artists and promoting art, this team headed by Lion Kishore D are contributing a lot to the Tulu theatre. The film Ekka saka will be the first gift to Tulu film industry by the Lakumi team.”

The producer of the film Kishore D Shetty said that to produce any good quality movie an experienced team is required and we are all set with a well versed Team. The co-producer of the film Girish Shetty, Chandrahas Shetty and the star of the movie Hitesh Naik and Sonal Padil were present at the occasion.

The director K. Suraj, artists Bhojaraj Vamanjuru, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Ravi Surathkal were present. Tulu theatre artist and Kannada serial Bhale Basava famed Shobharaj delivered the preliminary address. The program was compared by Navin Shetty Alake.
