Bangalore : KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar has made a mockery of the BJP manifesto for promising construction of Ram Mandir as against the Congress promise of a roof for all in the next five years.
Speaking after releasing a booklet named ‘Bhrashtatheye BJPya Shishathe’ Parameshwar said if the Congress wishes to provide a house for all and a peaceful life, it’s BJP’s tradition to bore the electorate through its Ram Mandir promise.
“The BJP is not interested in constructing a Ram Mandir. It is owing to this reason that it is repeating its promise in the fourth elections,” Parameshwar said adding had the BJP been genuinely interested in constructing the Mandir, then it would have done so until now.
Ram Mandir issue is just a tool to incite communal sentiments, he said adding once it bags the votes, then it is no issue at all.” They collected bricks and raised funds for Ram Mandir construction over 15 years ago. We do not know what happened then. Now they have raised the issue in the fourth election,” he mocked the BJP.
