Mysuru: While evaluating the papers, the evaluators should do their work seriously and sincerely, said Karisiddappa, Vice Chancellor, Visvesaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Addressing participants after inaugurating a two-day international conference on “Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT-2016)” organised by GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women at its seminar hall here on Friday, he said, “Students should not blame the system. Hence keeping this in mind, the evaluators should have responsibility while evaluating any paper. They should spend few minutes on the paper and see that the students get justice and are not put into trouble. The teaching faculty should also make use of this conference and get updated with their knowledge. In the two-day conference they are free to come out with good suggestions which in turn will be recommended to the board of studies for further action. We have wonderful students in India who are capable of competing in international market. If teachers provide them updated information our students will flourish”.
During the conference, research papers will be presented by the scholars under seven tracks-Image Processing, Power Electronics, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Computer Networks, Speech & Signal processing, Computer Networks and Cloud Computing. The presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplorer Digital Library for consideration.
