Mysuru: A Karnataka state transport corporation (KSRTC) Rajahamsa bus rolled off the road and toppled after its axle got cut . In the tragic accident two people have lost their forearms and 30 more were injured when the driver lost control near Golur in Nanjanagud rural limits in the early hours of morning on February 6.The Rajahamsa bus which belonged to Bengaluru depot had left Trichy last night. It met with an accident this morning when the conductor took over driving as the driver had expressed his inability to drive after he felt sleepy. Over speeding bus driven by the conductor toppled causing serious injuries to passengers.
The bus had more than 45 passengers travelling in it at the time of accident where more than 30 were injured. Two lost their forearms where as other two suffered serious bone fractures.
Crain was employed to lift the bus and more than 10 grievously injured passengers were immediately shifted to private hospital and KR Hospital with help from Nanjangud rural police.
