Mysuru: A long standing enmity with a neighbour allegedly resulted in a cold-blooded murder of a youth at Khandegowdanahalli in H D Kote taluk limits, late on Monday night.
The deceased is Ananda (30), a tractor driver.
It is said that Ananda was about to alight his bike on Monday night when miscreants slit his throat, leaving him bleeding to death.
The pin of suspicion now points at Ananda’s neighbour as it is said that Ananda had lodged a complaint with the police earlier against his neighbor after a fight and succeeded in putting them behind bars. Enraged by his action, it is suspected that the neighbor might have had executed the gruesome killing to settle score.
The incident has sent shock waves in the village and in surrounding areas. HD Kote police have registered a case and are on hunt for the accused.
