Mysuru: Those who want promotion should also be ready for transfer, said KSRP ADGP Bhaskar Rao.
When some of the family members of those who got promotional transfer to other battalions requested Bhaskar Rao for OOD, Rao who is very friendly with his subordinates including lower cadre employees said: “It’s promotional transfer, if they want promotion they should be ready for transfer or still if they want to be reinstated back to their place where they were working earlier, they will not be given promotion. We are doing our best to look after our employees and their family members but still as the department is big we can’t take immediate decision as we need to do justice to all of them. The department recently promoted and transferred 1600 employees but still there are few more staffs who are due for promotion but due to Supreme Court ruling we have delayed the promotional orders.”
He also mentioned that there are 4500 vacant posts in KSRP, especially those belonging to constable and Reserve Sub Inspector posts.
Over 55 KSRP Cyclist who are on ‘Karnataka Darshana’ cycle jatha from Bidar to Bengaluru, reached Mysuru on Sunday.
