Mysuru: A rare explosion at a residence in Kumbara Koppalu area of the city triggered panic among residents in the area. Glass panes of windows were shattered and cracks appeared on the building walls.
The explosion occurred in the house of Manjunath in the area. None was present in the house at the time of explosion.
The explosion was heard upto a distance of 2 kms and nearby buildings too were damaged in the incident.
Fire service personnel rushed to the spot immediately. The cause of explosion is not known yet.
