Mysuru: The two-day national seminar on Academic and Administrative Audits (AAA) organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University began at JSS Medical College here on Monday.
Dr. S Chandrashekar Shetty, former vice chancellor, RGUHS, during his keynote address emphasised on the quality enhancement in higher education and highlighted on the process of academic and administrative audits towards achieving self-reliance and excellence. Dr. B Suresh, Vice Chancellor of Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University in his presidential remarks comprehensively highlighted on the accreditation and auditing processes in the higher education institutions which would lead to self-reliance and excellence.
AAA is a system to control and maintain high standards in the field of higher education. It plays a vital role in providing quality education to the learners all over the world. Inorder to understand the process, purpose and benefits of AAA, JSS University organising this national seminar on the theme AAA and related topics. Eminent speakers from various institutions across the country are attending the seminar which will conclude on Tuesday.
