Maharaja Yaduveer thrilled participating in IYD -2017 celebrations

Mysuru: “I am happy to be a part of this year’s International Yoga Day celebrations where the cultural city is aiming for a record breaking performance to enter the Guinness Book of World Records”, said Scion of Mysuru, Yaduveer Krishnadutta Chamaraja Wadiyar, while taking part in the day’s event in Race Course.

Speaking to media on the occasion as a chief guest after performing Yoga, a beaming Yaduveer said he was delighted to be present at the venue in the midst of thousands of Mysureans trying to script a new record. Yaduveer endorsed PM Modi’s statement “Yoga is our strength” and added, “We should continue in that path.”

Youth rush towards scion for a magic moment

Students and youth who came to Race course Yoga venue in large numbers were seen attempting to take selfies with Scion Yadaveer, when he stepped down from the podium after performing Yoga.

Foreigners delighted

Thousands of foreigners participated in Yoga celebrations to mark the 3rd International Yoga Day and many were seen taking plenty of photographs and displaying their certificates of excellence after participating in the day’s program. Foreigners visit Mysore to learn Yoga and enjoy their stay in the cultural city, which is one of the famous tourist destinations, in this part of the globe.
